Planning Solicitor 2-5 yrs PQE

An opportunity has come up with a leading legal 500 firm to join their planning department in Leeds. This is for the role of Planning (Real Estate) Solicitor.

For this role we are looking for experienced Solicitors who ideally have plenty experience of working in planning law.

Salary: Competitive (Full time)

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating s106 Agreements for housebuilders, registered providers, landowners and local authorities
  • Liaising with clients.
  • Advising upon CIL regulations, applications and structuring a planning proposal
  • Advising on certificates of lawfulness and planning enforcement from the initial stages through to inquiry and/or judicial challenge
  • Providing advice regarding highway issues, including public rights of way
  • Advising clients in relation to compulsory acquisition and Development Consent Order work, whether promoting authority or objecting to a proposed claim.
