Accountant
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Bookkeeper to oversee and improve our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing cash flow, refining processes, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This role requires a professional who is adept at meeting deadlines, possesses a friendly and approachable personality, and is keen to play a significant role in our company's success story.
This position can be based remotely as long as you don't mind meeting in Marlow once every couple of weeks.
Day to Day of the role:
- Support the generation and review of monthly management reporting.
- Produce the annual budget and in-year reforecasts.
- Maintain sales invoice data for monthly sales reporting.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Process and approve payment of purchase invoices.
- Verify, reconcile, and process company credit card and employee expenses.
- Reconcile sales, purchase, and nominal ledger accounts.
- Establish and maintain robust credit control procedures.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and capital expenditure data.
- Review monthly payroll processes and maintain headcount data.
- Monitor intercompany transactions for monthly reconciliation.
- Manage the monthly VAT return process, with a specific focus on German VAT accounting.
- Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments.
- Provide assistance to our UK and US offices as required.
- Engage with stakeholders both internally and externally.
