KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE

- Contribute to planning a hybrid events program, collaborating across teams to support member retention, recruitment, and engagement.
- Manage logistics for policy events, from event creation to invitation lists, queries, and on-site support.
- Coordinate with member hosts to ensure venue bookings, AV, catering, and site visits, responding to queries promptly.
- Work with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate event delivery, flagging issues early to find solutions.
- Assist with planning, delivering, and managing larger commercial events, including registrations and materials.
- Ensure sponsors' deliverables are met and provide top-tier customer service.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including members, sponsors, and VIP guests.
- Support data management improvements, working with marketing to drive event marketing and member engagement.
- Work with marketing and comms to promote events and drive attendance.
- Help maintain brand identity across event materials, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Prepare core event materials like attendee lists and nameplates, checking them before events.
- Ensure on-site and office event equipment is stocked and managed, including couriers.
- Attend all meetings, conferences, and events as required, assisting with logistics and support.
- Understand the organisation's policies and objectives, contributing to event team KPIs.

Essential Criteria:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Efficient organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience organizing or supporting events
- Proactive and able to anticipate event and team needs, including identifying risks and creating opportunities
- IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A sense of humor, self-awareness, sound judgment, and a desire for continuous development
- Creative, articulate, and resourceful
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective work across the organization and building trust and rapport with colleagues
