Are you an energetic, organised, and commercially minded individual looking for a new challenge? Our client, a top 100, London-based law firm, is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join their recently restructured Marketing and Business Development team.

As the Senior Business Development Executive, you will be based in our client's London office, with the opportunity to work across all three of their offices. You will have a high degree of visibility and will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and lawyers throughout the firm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a BD Executive with experience in a professional services firm or a Senior Business Development Executive looking for a new challenge. You will play a key role in driving the firm's Business Development activity and contributing to their growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and implement BD plans and client/referrer relationship management best practises.
  • Manage tenders and work-winning opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and spot opportunities for progress.
  • Advocate BD and client/referrer relationship management across the firm.
  • Drive firm-wide BD initiatives and research projects to target clients.
  • Act as a gateway between lawyers and the wider marketing and business development team.
  • Oversee a BD executive who will be joining the team at the same time.

Requirements:

  • Business development and marketing experience, preferably within professional services.
  • Experience leading client-facing proposal documents and work-winning opportunities.
  • Strong relationship building, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge with new ideas and solutions.
  • Professional, credible, and confident in persuading and influencing stakeholders.
  • A team player with an interest in all areas of marketing and business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ambition to make a positive impact in a newly created team and role.
