The ideal Product Design Engineer will have a good background in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & proficient in 3D design using Solidworks or similar tools. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience and BA/BSc in Industrial or Product Design.
The Product Design Engineer based in Fordingbridge, Hampshire will have a blend of the following skills and experience:
- Developing new products from concept, using sketching
- Knowledge of plastics, properties & design principles
- Keep up to date by researching new processes & technologies
- Continually improve existing products
- 3D design & generation of production ready drawings in Solidworks
- Shaping new product roadmap, generating new products ideas and seeing them come to fruition
- Liaise with our manufacturing teams in the UK and Far East to see your products safely into full scale production.
- A focus on Design for Manufacture
- Work within our multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of design briefs
