Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting an Assistant Engineer to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to train alongside an experienced Drainage Engineer conducting all types of drainage maintenance works with the aim of gaining the experience and knowledge to eventually become a fully competent Drainage Engineer.
In return, our client is offering a salary of £26,770 + Overtime OTE £35K, depending on experience, plus Hotel accommodation/expenses allowance when working away from home, Company pension, On-going training and personal development. This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be a 45 hour working week with overtime available. Reporting to the Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out essential drainage maintenance support the Lead Engineers
- Keeping in touch with our helpdesk team
- Making recommendations for further works where necessary
- Assist in maintaining the vehicle and equipment to ensure it is always fit for purpose.
- Excellent customer service when working on site
The ideal candidate:
- Driving License
- You will need availability to flexible hours throughout the week
- Willingness to learn
- A good attitude towards health and safety.
- Self motivation and discipline
