Due to expansion and internal promotions, our Client, a reputable and forward thinking environmental logistics organisation based in Coventry is seeking a Commercial Service Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your job will be to manage the Commercial Service team and the Commercial Account Advisors. You will be responsible for back office process and sales support. Ensure customer expectations are met and a high quality of service is delivered.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

POLICY AND MANAGEMENT:

Manages the Commercial Service team and the Commercial Account Advisors and ensure they are working following the set processes and working processes.

Prepare the annual operational plan and budget for Commercial Service Management and is involved in the functional strategy for the department.

Ensures targets are being met within budget and following company guidelines.

ANALYSIS AND REPORTING

Set targets and objectives for the year and reports on key operational performance indicators for the Commercial Service department.

Provide all management reports related to the Commercial Service Department.

Ensure all internal compliance reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.

COMMERCIAL SERVICE

Coordinates the activities of the department in order to reach a high level of quality and service.

Ensures appropriate product, service and commercial contract expertise is available within the team.

Monitors, evaluates and improves Customer Relations.

QUALITY AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Builds process improvements in the system.

Optimises and improves processes and working procedures of the department, resulting in continuous improvements of the performance of the team.

Implements and maintains best practices with regard to Commercial Service Management.

European commercial alignment, to include system developing and testing on a variety of software.

HUMAN RESOURCES

Coordinates, coaches and motivates the team, plans and secures the personnel and team capacity and development to reach team goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Extensive experience within a Customer Service Management or Commercial Management role

Exceptional communication skills

Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel
