£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Our client, a forward-thinking organisation, is seeking an experienced and dynamic

Product Owner

to join their team. This is a pivotal role, acting as the bridge between various business divisions, development, and support teams, ensuring that all work aligns with the commercial goals of the company.

If you have a solid background in Agile methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving business improvements, this role could be your next exciting challenge.

Product Owner Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear development requirements and specifications.
  • Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team in building solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, refinement, estimation meetings, and progress updates.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritised and optimised for delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, map user journeys, and document requirements.
  • Play a key role in testing new development items, bug fixes, and supporting triage of live system issues.
  • Lead workshops, present solutions, and assist with changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Candidate:

  • Strong experience as a Product Owner, ideally with exposure to business analysis best practices.
  • A proven track record of working in Agile IT teams, delivering iterative development and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify problems and deliver creative solutions.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira for backlog management and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including AWS and Azure, and experience with projects involving server and networking changes.
