As Commercial Finance Manager, you will be the key in building this new team and working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders. The role will be responsible for and not limited to;
- Manage and lead a small Commercial Finance team.
- Own and challenge the divisional monthly forecast to ensure accurate future revenue and profit expectations.
- Drive actions to improve key financial and non-financial metrics through regular review with stakeholders.
- Provide critical strategic support to senior leadership on business strategies and key strategic projects both UK and globally.
- Review month-end financials, sign-off on key finance outputs, and produce high-quality quarterly board reports.
- Lead the end-to-end budget setting process, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are efficient.
- Support ad hoc projects requiring financial insight, such as potential M&A activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration working across the UK and global finance teams to support broader team priorities and development activities.
- Continuous Improvement - Seek opportunities for process efficiencies, automation, and simplification.
Essentially the role of Commercial Finance Manager is targeting a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant with no less than 3+ years of post-qualification experience in business partnering. You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
