We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team at the forefront of supply chain excellence. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact and enhance our current procurement processes with their fresh perspective.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and develop supplier relationships, ensuring a collaborative approach to business.
  • Conduct quarterly supplier reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Place purchase orders efficiently and monitor deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Support the introduction of new parts into the supply chain, coordinating with various departments.
  • Maintain the integrity of procurement systems, ensuring accurate data and efficient processes.
  • Resolve invoice queries promptly to maintain good supplier relations and financial accuracy.
  • Optimize supply routes to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
  • Plan and manage inventory based on demand forecasts, reducing excess stock and preventing shortages.
  • Introduce new suppliers to the network, expanding the company's sourcing capabilities.
  • Create and renew service agreements, ensuring terms are favourable and meet the company's needs.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives, contributing to the overall profitability and efficiency of the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement, with a track record of managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of negotiating and building rapport.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating leadership abilities when required.
  • Thrives under pressure and can manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail.
