Fund Manager

A Japanese financial company is looking for a Fund Manager to join their small but successful team. They could consider candidates with no experience who are eager to learn how to manage European Equities and develop further skills, or candidates who have already 5 - 10 years' experience as a Fund Manager and will enjoy working in a small team to contribute to their portfolio management for years to come.
Type: Permanent, full time
Salary: £40k - £100k depending on experience plus attractive benefits including bonus, commuting allowance, special holidays, and health insurance coverage for family members
Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:00 TBC
Location: Central London (onsite, with potential for hybrid working after the probation period)
Start Date: October 2024 (negotiable to start earlier)

Job Description:
- Picking favourable equities in the European stocks market
- Creating updated reports
- Assess market fluctuations, industry competition, annual business performance, and leadership expertise to identify investment opportunities
- Providing investment advice to clients
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Managing portfolios (asset and sector allocation), fund strategy planning, and coaching other employees
Application Requirements:
- Experience in fund management and financial market research is desirable
- Knowledge of investment market products such as equities, bonds, and derivatives is desirable OR
- Be a graduate with high interested in financial markets and eager to build their career in finance
- Motivated to learn about financial markets and stocks
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Native-level English proficiency
- Long-term commitment minded and loyal, to work in a stable team
