Job Title: Contracts Analyst

Location: Warwick - Hybrid working

Remuneration: Competitive salary + benefits

Contract Details:

  • Contract Type: Contract inside IR35

  • Working Pattern: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Vendor Management Team within our client's organisation, ensuring a smooth transition of group contracts to the new Future System Operator (FSO).
  • Collaborate with external teams and National Grid plc to agree on the disposition and treatment of each contract during the separation process.
  • Work closely with the clients contract and procurement experts to develop and execute a plan to separate contractual arrangements for the FSO's required services.
  • Monitor and track costs, progress, and risks related to contract disposition activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements while ensuring cost-efficiency, excellent service, and operational control.
  • Actively engage with procurement and supplier stakeholders, gathering feedback to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Suppliers, Legal, other project team members, and wider procurement teams.

Our client, is embarking on an exciting journey as it transitions to become the Future System Operator (FSO). As a Contracts Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the FSO's contractual landscape and supporting the establishment of this innovative organisation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within the transition workstream and support the separation of contractual services from our parent company, enabling the FSO to operate independently. You will collaborate closely with our client's internal teams as well as external partners to ensure a seamless transition of contracts, promoting integrity and coherence within the overall programme.

To excel in this position, you should have a solid understanding of contractual requirements, as well as experience in vendor management and procurement. Strong analytical and organisational skills will be essential, as you will be responsible for tracking costs, progress, and risks related to contract disposition activities. Additionally, your ability to build effective relationships and manage stakeholders will contribute to your success in this role.
