Care Home Administrator

Runwood Homes are recruiting for an experienced administrator to be based at Longview, in Canvey Island. This role is office-based and 40 hours per week.

Longview is a 70 bed home situated in a quiet residential area of Canvey Island. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia. We strive to create a homely environment at Longview, and we provide all the comforts of good food, good company and friendly staff, in a calm and restful atmosphere.

The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and previous payroll experience is desirable. Attention to detail is key.

Duties include; preparing payroll, ordering supplies, preparing reports for various agencies and general administration duties. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within the care sector.

Experience / Qualification:

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Suitable qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Proven administration experience
  • Previous experience in handling money and payroll.
