Accounts Payable Manager

SRM Recruitment are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join a premier real estate company with a network of beautiful properties across London, this is a great role for someone with Accounts Payable experience who wants to join a dynamic finance team.

The successful candidate will oversee the entire accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, managing vendor relationships, and leading the AP team. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our mission to provide top-quality living environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the processing of vendor bills, employee expense reports, and other payment requests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving payment discrepancies and disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in the real estate or property management industry would be beneficial.
