Induction Tutor

As an an administrator with previous experience in a training and development environment, you will join Arbury Court as an Induction Tutor and indirectly support some of the most vulnerable people in society.

What you will be doing

Working 37.5 hours a week you will be co-ordinating the Induction programme, including correspondence, time tabling and evaluation.

Ensuring things run smoothly by liaising with the induction presenters to ensure the programme is delivered, oversee the programme delivery by welcoming new employees and facilitating their effective introduction to the site.

You will also be assisting the training lead with co-ordination of the training strategy, training plan, departmental training plans and help identify individual training and development needs.

As an Induction Tutor, you will be:

  • Ensuring that training is delivered to enable the site to comply with Investors in People, Health Quality Service and Care Standards accreditations.
  • Managing the appraisal process alerting managers when employees' appraisals are due.
  • Co-ordinating NVQ's across all disciplines, monitoring candidates progress, keeping records up to date, promoting and supporting NVQ's.
  • Reporting Key Performance Indicators for training and development to the HR Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years previous experience in a training administration environment
  • 1 years experience in the development of and delivery of training
  • Ability to assess candidate performance and assess candidates using differing sources of evidence.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
