Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding, global organisation with their search to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking a role within accounts that offers the opportunity to interact with the wider areas of the business. Training will be provided and those who part qualified or newly qualified accountants will be considered for this Finance Business Partner role. Those that are ACA qualified in practice and seeking their first industry move will also be considered. If you are a motivated individual, eager to progress and can demonstrate commercial acumen, this role could be for you!

The Role

The Finance Business Partner's duties will include:

  • Financial monitoring of customer projects throughout the life cycle
  • Develop and maintain forecasting systems and models in line with Division standards
  • Support the financial accounting team through the annual audit and preparation of financial statements
  • Involvement in the preparation of forecasts and business plans
  • Assessment, tracking and reporting of opportunity/risk management
  • Provide business partnering support to our Head of Locations
  • Benchmarking of financial performance between projects
  • Involvement in month-end activities
  • Develop effective relationships throughout the Division/Group.

The Person

The requirements for the Finance Business Partner role are:

  • Experience of working in a busy finance team
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
  • Part Qualified or newly qualified accountant
  • An analytical mindset and excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge
