My client is a well-established company with a strong track record of growth and a reputation for looking after their staff.
They are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join them to provide support for month end processes.
Reporting to the Management Accountant you will have plenty of opportunity to carve out your role as you increase in experience in:
Reporting
- Assisting with the month end accounts and running of reports
Journals
- Processing daily journals and investigating any anomalies
- Preparing and posting month end journals
Reconcilations
- Monthly balance sheet recs
- Accurate bank reconciliations
Analysis
- Taking on analysis projects
Ledgers
- Ensuring payment runs are completed accurately and on-time
- Dealing with the more complex supplier claims
This is a lovely wide ranging role for a dedicated accounts professional who enjoys working as part of a team.
If you are AAT qualified or working towards ACCA/CIMA it would be a benefit – though not essential - and support is offered if you are actively studying.
