HR Systems Manager Dayforce/ Ceridian

The HR Systems Manager will work as part of the HR team and will be responsible for the management and ongoing implementation of the HR and Payroll systems, across the HR, Workforce Management, and Payroll functions.

There has been significant investment in both internal and external HR systems to support the growth within the group. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional who has a passion for systems and processes.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily support and maintenance of the HR and Payroll system (Dayforce) across the HR, Workforce Management, and Payroll modules
  • Update and adjust the configuration to reflect changes in the groups structure or business processes
  • Lead on the roll-out of new features and additional modules as they become available and where they add value to the business
  • Lead on the roll-out of new functionality and processes
  • Review, assess, and test future system releases to identify changes which may impact current processes or generate efficiencies
  • Provide system guidance and support to system users across HR and Management teams, as well as end users
  • Monitor data accuracy within the system and process bulk updates to account for business changes
  • Raise and manage support cases with the system provider
  • Provide direct support to the payroll team in relation to business-as-usual processes
  • Create accurate project schedules and deliver financial information for all system-related projects
  • Maintenance of pre-configured data feeds to associated internal systems
  • Document new processes and ensure the understanding of all stakeholders
  • Management of a small HR Systems team (1 direct report)

Profile

  • Previous experience of using Dayforce (Ceridian)
  • An understanding of the interfaces between payroll systems, finance and management accounts and associated statutory requirements
  • An understanding of payroll and tax regulations and how these impact a monthly payroll, system implementation and process design
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse data

Job Offer

  • Salary up to £55,000 per annum
  • 25 days holiday, rising with length of service, plus bank holidays
