We are currently looking for an Estates Operative to join our team. As a Facilities and Estates Operative at Together Housing, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting in the successful delivery of a customer-oriented and effective Cleaning & Waste Management Service. You will ensure that all internal and external communal areas are left clean, safe, and attractive for our customers by using a combination of hand tools, power tools, and chemical agents when required. You will also undertake minor repairs to communal properties, gardens, and the wider estate, and address any customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • MUST have a full MANUAL Drivers License
  • Cleaning or Caretaking experience highly desired
  • Experience working in a customer-oriented environment with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate relevant cleaning/caretaking equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and specific site safety
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy to enable accurate record-keeping
