Client Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead our ERP transformation project. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation and integration of Infor M3, which will enhance our business processes and improve overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, extensive experience with Infor M3 and ERP systems, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Interim IT Project Manager include:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the ERP transformation project, ensuring it is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and external vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.

Profile

The successful IT Project Manager will have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager, with a focus on ERP implementation ideally Infor M3 and transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and adjacent systems, such as SAP, & Infor M3, EDI & Cognos TM1.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Infor M3 project delivery
  • Experience in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
  • Knowledge of business processes such as order to cash, purchase to pay, and manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Job Offer

  • A competitive day rate of up to £600 a day Outside IR35.
