Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant looking for the next step in your Education career?

Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary school based in Hackney, supporting them in their search for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start over the Autumn term.

The Opportunity

  • A long-term SEN Teaching Assistant role in a mainstream primary school.
  • Working in either EYFS, Key Stage 1 or 2, supporting pupils who require additional support within the classroom.
  • Working alongside supportive Teaching Assistants, Teachers and SENCO's with a wealth of experience.
  • An inner-London school local to a tube station.
  • Up to £110 per day

About You

  • You have experience supporting pupils with a range of needs within a SEN, Primary or Secondary setting.
  • You are proactive and demonstrate the ability to think on your feet during challenging situations.
  • You demonstrate professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive matters.
  • Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for working with children and have a desire to build long-lasting, rewarding relationships.
