Bookkeeper required. My client is a medium sized accountancy practice based in Ashford, Surrey. Boasting over 25 years' experience, my client has a wealth of experience and work alongside a wide range of clients across a number of different industries.
Due to recent growth, they are seeking a bookkeeper who will provide day to day bookkeeping and VAT support to a variety of clients to join their welcoming and friendly team. Position Overview
- Enter correct data into financial records and recognise/correct errors
- Process payments, invoices, income and receipts while entering data into accounting software
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for clients
- Handle general adhoc duties as and when they are required
- Work as part of a team to ensure all VAT returns are completed and filed
- Prepare quarterly, monthly and annual VAT reconciliations
My client is looking for someone to hit the ground running, so suitable candidates must have previous experience working in accountancy practices and will be AAT qualified, or QBE.

- Previous experience working in accountancy practices (essential)
- Experience using accountancy software such as; sage, quickbooks and xero (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A highly organised individual who is able to multi-task and manage/prioritise tasks to meet deadlines

- £30,000+ basic salary (depending on experience)
