Senior Acoustic Consultant
My client represents an independent consultancy that specializes in architectural and environmental acoustics. This exciting role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects varying in scale and located in rural, urban, and industrial environments throughout the United Kingdom.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in acoustics or a related subject and corporate membership to the IOA
- Experience in conducting onsite surveys and creating technical reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Build strong client relationships to drive business opportunities and collaborate with colleagues throughout project lifecycles
- Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and construction site managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Collect data for modelling and create reports using AutoCAD
- Conduct noise measurement assessments, sound insulation testing, and 3D noise modelling
- Draft fee proposals for clients and conduct noise and vibration assessments
- Supervise junior employees onsite
