We are looking for a Business Support Assistant in Taunton. In many cases you will be the first point of contact of service as well as administrative matters.
Monday to Friday 08:30am -17:00pm.
This is a contract running from June until January 2025.
Duties will include:
- Opening, sorting, recording, distribution of post, aswell as operating a franking machine where required.
- Photocopying, arranging duplicates/printing/scanning and sending faxes.
- Co-ordinating diaries and availabilities to arrange meetings, organise venues, maintain booking systems, arrange car parking etc.
- Use initiative to compile, store, revise and print text, tables, spreadsheets, official documents and reports.
- Act as a first point of contact and use acquired knowledge and initiative to provide information for clients, suppliers, the public and staff.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- 5 GSCE's or equivalent experience including English and Maths.
- Competent with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to follow procedures, policies and organisational frameworks.
- Some form of administration experience, if possible previous email and maibox prioritisation and management.
- Basic DBS already in place is essential.
