About the role - Senior Civil Engineer
The company are an award-winning developer delivering luxury residential projects UK wide.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be part of their Design, Technical & Engineering team and will play a pivotal role throughout the entire project lifecycle, from land acquisition to construction and operation.
Duties & responsibilities for the Senior Civil Engineer:
- Design roads, car parking, drainage, hard landscaping and temporary works.
- Produce earthworks details and calculate cut/fill quantities.
- Lead liaison with external bodies for drainage and highway section agreements.
- Liaise with contractors for earthworks, demolition, remediation, drainage connections, diversions, and highway works.
- Liaise with geo-environmental consultants for site investigations, remediation, materials management and site validation.
Requirements for the Senior Civil Engineer:
- A registered Chartered Engineer (CEng) or be working towards.
- A minimum BEng (Hons) in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Ability to act as a Lead Civil Engineer with minimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge of relevant design codes and guidance documents.
- Experience in managing the application of statutory agreements.
- A strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
- Preferable to have good experience of using Autodesk software.
