Credit Controller

- Length of contract: 8-12 weeks
We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our client's expanding credit team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a tenacious attitude and experience in managing complex business portfolios. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and will play a key role in leading the team towards achieving collection targets.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Produce collection target reports and daily and weekly aged debtor reports.
- Conduct credit reviews and maintain accurate customer data.
- Handle daily allocations, invoice processing, and payment chasing.
- Perform account reconciliations and related tasks.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in credit control and effective methods for customer service and resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in full end-to-end Credit Control and Sales ledger management.
- Self-motivated with a tenacious attitude to see tasks through to completion.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead by example with extensive experience in Credit Control.
- Strong customer service and resolution skills.
- Team player, capable of working both collaboratively and with initiative.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookups).
