Office Manager – the job
- Design and implement office policies, establishing standards and procedures, including writing processes, process maps, and complying with QMS, ISO, and MHRA requirements
- Use a range of office software, including QuickBooks, email, spreadsheets, and databases
- Organize and chair meetings with junior staff, including typing the agenda and taking minutes
- Ensure adequate staff levels to cover absences and peaks in workload
- Carry out staff appraisals and one-to-one meetings as scheduled
- Assist with financial accounting, including bank reconciliations, quarterly VAT, PAYE, LLP drawings/tax & NI, and paying supplier bills
