Our Professional Services Accountancy team is hiring and we are seeking a Technical Consultant to implement IRIS software solutions and provide training, collaborating with customers and internal staff who form part of the client project delivery teams, to enable customers to achieve the expected business benefits from an IRIS solution.

You will be providing training and implementation work on the Accountancy modules of the software solution, experience in the software systems will be ideal.

Your primary role will be to assist businesses in successfully implementing cloud-based software solutions. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients to understand their specific needs and objectives, providing expert guidance throughout the implementation process. By configuring workflows, system settings, and ensuring a seamless transition, you will play a vital role in optimising their digital systems and ensuring a seamless transition to the new digital platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior consultants and clients to gain an understanding of their business requirements and goals.
  • Analyse client needs, and design digital solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Configure cloud-based software to meet the unique specifications of each client.
  • Set up and optimise workflows, system configurations, and data integrations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the software is functioning correctly and meets client expectations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior consultants, developers, and project managers, to ensure a smooth implementation process.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the implementation, addressing any concerns or challenges that may arise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs encountered during the implementation phase.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to create a knowledge base for future reference and training purposes.
  • Importing Client data and data manipulation

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in implementing desktop and/or cloud-based software solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of system configurations and data integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address potential challenges during implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results to ensure successful implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to different client requirements and project scopes.
