HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner will play a key role in the HR team in this not-for-profit organisation, managing junior team members and supporting the senior managements stakeholders with the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations to performance management

Description

The HR Business Partner will;

  • Provide a strong HR service delivery to their regions, and work closely alongside their HR Business Partner counterpart to ensure consistency across the regions
  • Personally deliver a varied caseload of HR work and HR projects - providing advice, guidance and practical support across the full range of people activities (Job Evaluation, Retention, Contracts, Policy Development, all Employee Relations cases) to regional heads of service and managers
  • Support line managers on continuous improvement of service delivery to the end-user
  • Line Management responsibility for HR Advisers providing coaching, development and support to the team to enhance their performance and professional development
  • Deliver upskilling and coaching of managers in people related matters to ensure thoroughness, consistency and fairness in the application of policy, procedure and best practice
  • Play a key part in identifying and supporting employee retention initiatives
  • Make data-driven decisions, through thorough data analysis, providing relevant reports and solutions to line managers

Profile

The successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • Level 7 CIPD
  • Demonstrable experience of line management of an HR team
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and dealing with varied employee relations casework
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law
  • A not-for-profit or social care background would be beneficial
  • Trade union experience would be beneficial

Job Offer

  • A salary of up to £42,648
  • Hybrid working, with a minimum requirement of 1 day per week in the Liverpool office (there will be requirement for more office presence and some limited travel, based on business needs)
