High-Volume Connectivity Products & Solutions c. £60,000 pa + Bonus & Benefits Location: Plymouth (Multi-Site Role)
The Opportunity:
Are you a hands-on quality leader ready to make a real impact across multiple manufacturing sites?
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take full ownership of quality assurance across four high-volume manufacturing sites in the South West. You'll lead the charge in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion quality standards across all sites, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, ISO45001, and ISO14001
- Lead internal and external audit programs and certification processes
- Drive process improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Act as the primary contact for customers, auditors, and regulators
- Develop and mentor a team of quality and process professionals
About You:
You're a proactive, experienced quality professional with a strong background in high-volume manufacturing (e.g., Aerospace, Defence, Food). You will bring:
- Proven leadership in quality and process improvement
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
- Lead Auditor certification (ideally IATF16949 or AS9100)
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence at all levels
