Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our dynamic Credit Control Team at our Head Office in Crewe. This role is ideal for someone with a good telephone manner, experienced in handling high volume inbound and outbound calls, and possessing excellent attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Cash Collection: Actively chase all overdue B2B & B2C debts to ensure invoices are paid on time, in line with payment terms and credit limits.
- Inbound Calls: Manage inbound calls from customers and internal depot calls efficiently.
- Order Release: Regularly review stopped orders for release and collaborate with our Sales Depots to clear any overdue balances or queries.
- Query Management: Identify and liaise with our Sales Depots to effectively resolve customer queries and maintain high customer service levels.
- Ledger Management: Conduct regular debt ledger reviews, account reconciliations, and manage unallocated cash.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
- Strong ability in handling high volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
