Join Our Client's Team as an Onsite Assessor in Construction!

A leading training provider in the North East of England is expanding its Construction team and seeking an Onsite Assessor to work closely with clients and learners. This role will primarily involve onsite assessments with occasional work from a new Gateshead office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess learners using diverse methods to ensure successful qualification outcomes, in line with contractual targets.
  • Conduct workplace visits to deliver teaching and learning aligned with qualification requirements.
  • Generate monthly progress reports for your allocated caseload of learners.
  • Participate in standardisation meetings as needed.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all learners.
  • Complete funding documentation and administrative tasks to meet compliance standards.
  • Uphold Equal Opportunities policies and Health & Safety requirements, ensuring fair access to assessments for all learners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Experience assessing NVQs in Construction.
  • Background in teaching or training within a workplace setting.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car, with a willingness to travel.
  • Recognised NVQ Assessor Qualification or a commitment to attain one.
  • Vocational qualification at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

Salary Banding: £32,000 - £40,000
