Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a forward thinking and dynamic organisation who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join them for a 12 month contract.
The responsibilities as the Assistant Accountant will include:
- Assist with the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Support the preparation of financial reports for budget holders and other stakeholders
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal processing
- Variance analysis
- Ensuring all deadlines are met
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- External returns and reporting
To be considered for the role of Assistant Accountant:
- Good ability with MS Office packages including Excel
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to form strong external relationships
