Description

The role is crucial in driving transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across all company production systems.

  • Develop and execute the a Production manufacturing strategy to align with global business goals and support future growth.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance resilience across the production portfolio, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Optimize production systems to achieve significant cost reductions and secure future production contracts.
  • Manage a £50 million capital investment portfolio focused on modernizing production infrastructure and tooling.
  • Foster strong relationships with Service Delivery Units (SDUs) and other key stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and functional alignment.
  • Provide leadership and governance within the Production Operations Senior Management Team, including mentoring and performance management of direct reports.

Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in managing large, multidisciplinary teams in high-rate manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence and transformation.
  • Strong background in managing large capital investment projects and modernizing production infrastructure.
  • Ability to optimize production systems while achieving cost reductions and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience leading strategic transformation initiatives that align with global business ambitions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills for effective collaboration with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex programmes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a deep understanding ofproduction operations and their integration within a global business context
  • A proven CI / Lean background in a global manufacturing company

Job Offer

£85,000 to £95,000 plus car / car allowance, bonus and benefits.
