Are you a skilled Senior Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity on a heavy civils project?

We have a fantastic position available for a Senior Engineer, offering a competitive daily rate.

Join my clients team and play a key role in the construction and contribution to a number of interesting and challenging projects.

My client is a renowned civil engineering contractor who are looking to add a Senior Engineer to motivate and drive the engineering team to meet deadlines and quality standards. If you feel you are a commercially aware and technically savvy Senior Engineer with the ability to take initiative and keep the team on site marching to the same tune, then you will immediately be of interest!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the construction activities of your section of the project
  • Ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, planners, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Monitor progress, quality, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the construction team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • Ability to show previous experience in a similar role
  • SMSTS
  • A full UK Driving license
