I am currently recruiting for a lovely position for someone who has experience as a Commercial Contracts Manager within a defence environment.

The daily duties will include
- Drafting, negotiating and agreeing contracts and agreements
- Risk management - identifying risks associated with contracts and develop mitigation strategies
- Reporting to management on contract statuses, key risks and any significant changes that could impact the business.
- Contract management - overseeing the management of contracts throughout their lifecycle, including amendments, renewals and closeout processes, ensuring obligations are met.
- Compliance - ensuring all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
- Bidding process, ensuring cross functional, working to deliver costs in time, generation of proposals and contract negotiations.
- Contract delivery - being a vital part of the delivery chain that ensures promises are met to customers.
- Contract dispute resolution, manage and resolve contract related disputes in collaboration with legal and other departments.
- Business winning - being a key player in winning new work
What you will need experience in
- Ability to manage mulitple contracts in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity in MOD contracts
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
