Front Desk Receptionist

£35,000 per annum

Westminster, London

We have an exciting opportunity for a Front Desk Receptionist to join a thriving business in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to visitors and staff.

As the Front of House/Receptionist, you will welcome visitors and ensure all stakeholders across the business are greeted with a smile and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering all incoming calls; screening and transferring calls accordingly
  • Performing clerical duties such as filing,photocopying, and data entry
  • Managing office supplies and maintaining a clean, organised reception area
  • Responding to email enquiries and manage the Info mailbox - forwarding on emails to the relevant department
  • Scheduling appointments and assisting with meeting room bookings
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail efficiently
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager with ad hoc duties; logging helpdesk issues, organising the cleaners etc
  • Liaising with the Catering, Tech Service Desk and Postroom teams to ensure meeting rooms are set up for events in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a clerical or receptionist role (advantageous)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Proficiency in computerised systems - Microsoft packages including Office, Word and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
