Role: Costing Analyst / Finance Pricing Analyst

Location: Central London - 3 days in office

Salary: £40-45k + study support, bonus & benefits

This is an exciting FMCG and manufacturing business based in the city of London. They have been experiencing exponential growth over the years with their tasty products being stocked in top retailers across the UK and Europe.

Due to this growth, they are looking to expand their commercial team by recruiting a talented Costing Analyst / Finance Pricing Analyst to join their department.

Role

This position is a broad role encompassing budgeting, pricing and costing as well as financial planning / reporting. The Finance Pricing Analyst for this FMCG business will take on a number of key duties including:

  • Ownership of accurate product costings, ensuring data provided is up to date.
  • Supporting analysis for costings data for various growth projects.
  • Working on supply chain costs at month end and ensuring accurate data is recorded for Logistics.
  • Support Supply Chain and Procurement Business Partners on various projects.
  • Processing month end accruals and prepayments.
  • Resolving open PO queries by reviewing purchase order and supplier invoices.
  • Working with Commercial Finance to ensure cost of goods data is provided accurately for in-house meetings.
  • Support overhead and reporting for the sites.
  • Provide product costing analysis and reports.
  • Assist with ad hoc duties as directed by finance team.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Costing Analyst / Finance Pricing Analyst position should have the following attributes:

  • Ideally previous experience within a similar capacity from the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical experience in financial analysis and product costing.
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
  • Ideally part-qualified and actively studying (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
