Birchrose Associates are recruiting for a Locum Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to assist at a reputable firm based in the Midlands for 3 months in duration, starting ASAP.
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a friendly, high-street firm in the Midlands to recruit for a Locum Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to cover a sabbatical. The role can be carried out on a hybrid basis (one day per week in the office minimum), although they will also consider candidates who can go into the office just in the first week and then work fully remotely.
This assignment is to start ASAP with an expected duration of 3 months. The locum is free to work full time or part time, with a minimum of 4 days per week required.
Responsibilities
The successful Locum will manage a caseload of private client matters including:
- Wills
- Probate
- Estate administration
- Trusts
The locum will benefit from highly experienced secretarial support and support from other Fee Earners in the team.

Requirements
- At least 8 years' experience as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Experience handling busy caseloads of private client work
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
