The Company:
ER Recruitment are working exclusively with our client who are going through phenomenal growth and have offices throughout the Midlands.
The company are now seeking a confident, and enthusiastic HR Director who will drive all areas of human resources, including strategic and operational, to support this brand into the next level.

Role & Responsibilities of the HR Director:

  • Provide leadership to create a progressive, cohesive and coherent impact for the full range of HR services (policy development, analytics, advisory services, resourcing, health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, organisational development, engagement, reward and recognition, including payroll and pensions).
  • Ensure that HR has the structures, systems, processes and policies necessary for effective company performance.
  • Resolve the most complex organisational issues, identifying effective solutions and establishing precedents.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding with the support of the wider HR team.
  • Develop HR operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements.
  • Devise and implement strategic direction and planning for the HR function.
  • Ensure the regular provision of accurate management information to highlight where business performance is good and where improvement is required, with solutions to address issues.
  • Lead special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities.
  • Support both management and individual contributors by providing HR advice and guidance in line with company policies as well as employment law.

About You as the HR Director:

  • Supportive, collegiate, positive person with excellent people skills.
  • Significant experience of working closely with leaders, managers and key stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives within a large diverse and unionised organisation.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to lead the organisation on people matters.
  • Strong experience with Analytics and MI, interpreting what data means and utilising it.
  • Ability to deliver personally and through others across projects by setting clear goals and targets, monitoring progress and developing skills.
