About the role:

The Global Mobility Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering Nomad Foods international mobility programmes, to support strategic business goals as well as talent development & succession planning, while ensuring compliance, cost effectiveness, and a smooth employee experience. The role combines operational excellence with critical thinking and requires effective collaboration with colleagues from the Reward team, HR Business Partners, other internal department and 3rd parties vendors (e.g. immigration, tax and relocation services providers).

Key accountabilities:

  • Ownership of Global Mobility framework. Input into design, develop, and maintain policies and tools, including launch (or re-launch) of international mobility programmes as required (long- and short-term assignment, international transfer for exiting employees and new hires, commuting arrangement, etc.). Whilst receiving strategic guidance from the Head of Reward and Senior HR Leadership Team, the Global Mobility manager is expected to provide subject matter expert advice and craft the best international mobility solutions to support business and HR priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate delivery of Global Mobility programmes. Responsible for end-to-end execution, directly or in partnership with the broader Reward and HR team.
  • Manage Global Mobility vendors. Partner with our vendors to ensure excellent delivery and drive cost efficiencies. This will include budget management and invoice tracking, reconciliation and processing. From time to time, scout the market for new or more effective/efficient providers.
  • Internal SME[SB1] . Educate Reward & HR to assess and provide first tier advice on Global Mobility cases. Promote awareness and understanding of Global Mobility programmes within the wider business by creating effective communication materials and toolkits. Keep abreast of regulatory changes, particularly around immigration and tax for key markets, as well as best practices and standards (e.g. rise of international remote working practices, 'digital nomad' visas etc.).
  • Compliance champion. Ensure adequate level of compliance and risk management, to be key factors in the design and delivery of any Global Mobility programme.
  • Functional & project management. The role doesn't manage people but may be required to allocate and direct work of junior team members, as well as lead projects or recurrent activities through functional expertise.

About you:

  • Proven experience in managing international mobility programmes, preferably within Europe.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, particularly in the space of global mobility coordination, international tax, immigration, and relocation services.
  • Solid knowledge of international tax principles, with experience in managing employment tax matters in more than one European country.
  • Knowledge of immigration and right to work in the UK required, other European countries advantageous.
  • Experience with HRIS and Global Mobility platforms highly desirable.
  • English as first language or business level required; other European languages advantageous.
