Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that values its employees and offers excellent working conditions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices across multiple companies
- Matching invoices to corresponding purchase orders and delivery confirmations
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries in a timely manner
- Performing regular reconciliations of supplier statements
- Preparing payment runs and securing required approvals in line with company policy
- Ensuring supplier records, including bank details, are accurate and up to date
- Handling finance-related telephone and email correspondence
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communication style, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
