The Role:
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be essential to our client's business development strategy. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring consistent sales while actively seeking new business opportunities. This role offers a balanced mix of office-based work (80%) and client-facing activities (20%).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of trading customers
Drive new business development in alignment with the company's growth plans
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
Ensure continuous sales growth and high levels of client satisfaction
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in the retail industry
- Exceptional relationship-building and rapport-building skills
- Proven track record of delivering results and securing new business
- High level of drive and resilience; ability to handle rejection and persist in winning new clients
- Experience in the retail industry - advantageous - not essential
- Positive energy, enthusiasm, and a great sense of humour, coupled with a professional approach
