Sustainability Team Administrator 18 month contract

A well renowned organisation in the Construction industry is looking for a Sustainability Coordinator. No previous experience within Sustainability is required, just a strong background in office administration and a motivation to promote sustainability within the organisation.

You will be a key point of contact for the business, whilst also working alongside other members of the team to meet local aspirations and deliver the Group corporate sustainability strategy.

The role is based in Taplow, with some travel to other local sites. Therefore, you must be a driver. Salary up to £36k plus bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adopt a proactive approach to improving performance and promoting sustainability to all staff
  • Raise awareness of the Sustainability Strategy and Standards via training staff
  • Undertake frequent visits to construction sites to assess compliance
  • Assist in the collation, analysis and reporting of data
  • Prepare guidance to assist project teams in managing sustainability

Key Requirements

  • Extensive office based experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Confidence in working with people at all levels in an organisation
  • The ability to motivate people to change their behaviour
  • Interested in sustainability
