The role
The company is looking for an HR Assistant for 3-4 months to support with workload and there is the possibility the role could become permanent for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the HR inbox and acting as first point of contact for HR queries, resolving these where possible and signposting and escalating as required.
- Updating the company intranet so managers have access to relevant information, helping them to deal with a range of HR issues.
- Completing the new starter and leavers process.
- Greeting new starters on their first day of work.
- Coordinating employee onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Maintaining and updating employee records, both physical and digital.
- Managing employee leave requests and maintaining accurate records.
- Updating the HR system with any employee changes
- Supporting HR projects and initiatives as required.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator/Assistant or similar role.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Proactive approach and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Start date: ASAP
Location - Central Bristol |hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office)
