This is a perfect role for someone who has a good track record of selling, likes a challenge, and can communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

My client, who are based in Maidenhead, are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their close-knit, high-performing sales team.

They are a well-known global IT support company who aim to give their customer's the best service possible. They pride themselves in their fun and flexible working environment.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Account Manager include:

  • Strategically manage a volume of clients to exceed sales targets.
  • Generation of new clients through networking, referrals and prospects.
  • Negotiate commitments and growth deals with existing customers.
  • Cross and up-sell the companies products and services to an existing customer base.
  • Build lasting relationships with your accounts and increase their margin revenue with us.
  • Generate and qualify leads through phone calls.
  • Maintain good communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Focus on full sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate intake forecasting for larger opportunities.
  • Update customer data base on Salesforce.com.
  • Assist Credit Control with invoice collection.
  • Proactively target new business.
  • Ensure that KPI's are met on sales targets each month.
  • Achieve both personal and career advancement goals.

Profile

The successful Account Manager will have:

  • Previous sales experience within an office environment.
  • Proven track record of selling.
  • Knowledge of the logistics/supply chain industry (desirable, but not essential)
  • Strong rapport building skills and the ability to develop relationships.
  • Self-motivated and target driven with little supervision.
  • A good team player with a flexible approach.
  • Display hunger, motivation, and passion to succeed.
