Hays are recruiting for an award-winning technology company with a turnover of £20 million. They are seeking a dedicated professional to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Manage month end closing routines for all ledgers and sub-ledgers.
- Ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed each month and represent valid assets or liabilities.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting.
- Prepare & submit VAT, PAYE and related returns in accordance with HMRC requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including financial statements and variance analysis.
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Provide all relevant P&L and ensure analysis is updated.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be available to start at the beginning of September, be willing to travel for work, and have experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of ARP systems and data relationships. Prior experience in a comparable position is essential.
