Experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor required to join a leading tier one civil engineering contractor to oversee a multitude of their projects across the Southwest. Majority of works include, highways, rail, energy, maritime and heavy infrastructure schemes ranging in value from £350K - £1bn.

The role of Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

Reporting into the Head of Health, Safety & Environmental and working heavily alongside the quality assurance team and site teams. You will be responsible for conducting regular site visits across the South & Southwest.

Responsibilities for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

This Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor role will include regular liaison with subcontractors and clients to ensure they are following the correct business procedure. Enforce and roll out Health, Safety & Environmental management standards and systems, alongside informing legislation changes and business development & strategy. Whilst promoting and providing training for new and existing Health, Safety & Environmental campaigns.

As Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor your number one priority is to ensure all sites you oversee is operating in alliance with the Health, Safety & Environmental standards.

Requirements for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

You will be an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor with previous involvement within the construction/ civil engineering sector. Demonstrating your ability to operate within a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor role within a leading organisation working on similar projects of a similar value. Key attributes will include industry knowledge, legislation awareness, and ability to effectively communicate with individuals of a ranging hierarchy.
