**Position:**Year 2 Primary Teacher

Salary: £140 - £180 per day

A primary school in Telford is seeking a committed teacher for their Year 2 class. This school is committed to offering a nourishing and fun environment where children are uplifted and encouraged to acquire life skills, learn and grow.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the UK national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and pupil engagement.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience for pupils.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos, promoting respect, responsibility, and a sense of community.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 or within the Key Stage 1 (KS1) framework.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
