We are looking for an assertive, organised and meticulous candidate to support one of our manufacturing clients based in Bolton. You will be working on a temporary basis, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, paying a competitive hourly rate between £14.50 - £15.50 per hour.
What you will be doing as a Supply Chain Administrator?
Due to demands in the business and an extremely busy order book. You will be supporting the team to:
- Chase up and speak with suppliers in regards to outstanding orders and ETA's
- Chase up hauliers in regards to expected orders and missing items
- Navigate and negotiate with suppliers to identify delivery dates and estimated arrivals of such items
- Update an existing tracking excel sheet
- Use oracle and business intelligence to update orders and supplier information
- Be confident in speaking with suppliers and getting results in meeting client expectations
- Chase up purchase order information
- Take telephone enquiries and responding to emails
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in Supply Chain, Stock Control, Procurement or Purchasing
- Working with an EPR System or experience using Oracle/Business Intelligence
- Assertive behaviour and able to get results
- Computer savvy and good IT skills
